Strategy

The following goals emerged from the ANPED SPAC Conference in Soesterberg, Netherlands in 1999, and was most recently reaffirmed in the latest Working Group held at Zagreb, Croatia: 

  1. To keep ANPED members informed of important news and issues in general and with SPAC Watch in particular.
  2. To raise public awareness and knowledge about critical SPAC issues and policies within the ECE region.
  3. To build knowledge and capacity in lobbying for policies and legislation for SPAC priorities.
  4. To build a strong network for SPAC among ANPED members and between ANPED and other networks, especially those in the South.
